Lemon Eucalyptus & Cedarwood Charcoal Soap

This bar is made with activated charcoal and bentonite clay for a deep cleansing nourishing wash. Research suggests that activated charcoal and bentonite clay are both great for all skin types, especially oily skin. They can pull excess oil and dirt from the skin as the toxins stick to the activated charcoal but also help to retain the moisture making it gentle enough for the face. It is also said that activated charcoal can reduce body odour making it a great all round body bar!
 
Ingredients: Saponified oils of coconut, olive, almond, castor and organic shea and organic cocoa butter with activated charcoal, bentonite clay and CPTG essential oils of lemon eucalyptus and cedarwood.
 
 
*** We choose to use lemon eucalyptus oil sourced from Northern Australia where it is steam distilled from the tall trees leaves.
*** The cedarwood oil we choose to use is sourced from South-Eastern USA. Just a little fun fact for you - this oil is made using the by-products of the lumber industry making it  a waste free, sustainable sourcing option! Win win right?!

I am so excited to share that I now use 100% certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils in my soaps! These new oils are ethically sourced through co-impact sourcing, protecting the environment and farmers from all over the world. Through purchasing these oils I am supporting developing communities to have access to basic needs such as fresh water and schooling and a sustainable income to support their whanau.
This is something that is really important to me and has taken a while to adjust to the different quantities needed but I am so proud that we have successfully made the switch! It is amazing how much the smell has changed too, especially with the lavender and tea tree options.
