A calming blend of calendula oils and therapeutic grade essential oils made with saponified oils of olive (infused in calendula), coconut, almond, castor, organic shea, and mango butter, and CPTG essential oils of bergamot & ylang ylang.
***The bergamot essential oil we use is grown on family orchards in Reggio di Calabria, Italy. Growing some of the best bergamot fruit in the world has become a strong tradition for many families and due to this co-impact sourcing initiative, these families are able to continue these traditions whilst providing for their whanau.
***We have chosen to use ylang ylang grown, harvested and distilled on the island of Nosy Be off the northwest coast of Madagascar. What I love most about the use of this oil is how it has helped the community. Nosy Be is small and isolated and most locals couldn't recieve healthcare due to the travel needed to get there. Caring for people and giving back to communities is at the heart of this organisation so they found a solution. A medical dispensary and maternity clinic have since been set up on the island and a mobile health clinic can now visit patients in their homes. This was all funded by people like us, who purchase and support these oil and in turn, support these smaller communities in need of our help.
Perfect for a gift or personal use and proudly palm oil FREE.
No fragrances, no nasties and no palm oil! Soaps are scented with essential oils only and coloured with clay.
Price is for 1x approx 80gram bar.
Note: All bars are crafted and cut by hand so differ slightly from one another.
I am so excited to share that I now use 100% certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils in my soaps! These new oils are ethically sourced through co-impact sourcing, protecting the environment and farmers from all over the world. Through purchasing these oils I am supporting developing communities to have access to basic needs such as fresh water and schooling and a sustainable income to support their whanau.
This is something that is really important to me and has taken a while to adjust to the different quantities needed but I am so proud that we have successfully made the switch! It is amazing how much the smell has changed too, especially with the lavender and tea tree options.
So when you support us in choosing our soap bars, you are also supporting these farmers around the world.
